What message will you deliver to your sales team to get them ready for success in the new year? Listen to this show to learn the foundation word for your team.

It may be the start of the new year, but don’t think for one second that your sales team is showing up game ready. Last year was tough on many of them. Their earnings were probably down and their debt grew. They are weary from fighting the tough fight. They need your help. You may have the title of sales manager, but it is your leadership that your team needs right now.

As the year begins, get the team together whether it be on a conference call, webinar, or in-person and deliver a foundation message based on one key word… accountability. Acknowledge that last year was tough, but that you are counting on them to perform at 100% this year. Make sure that they know that you and the company are behind them… but despite the hardships, they need to generate results. Sales teams founded on accountability overcome the hardships…they  persevere. If they’re looking for blame and pity, sales is probably not the right occupation for them.
