There is something that every sales person wants from their sales manager. It costs managers nothing, but could be their secret to hitting this year’s revenue target. Listen to this episode to learn what that gift is.
There is one gift that every salesperson wants from their sales manager. You’re probably thinking it’s money, right? Nope, that’s not it. What they want is the opportunity to make money.
And, there’s a difference. They’re not looking for a handout, but they also don’t want all of their precious sales time spent on non-sales related activities.
Think about your sales environment… Are there client-related issues that can be better handled by assigning non-sales people to fix them? When you request sales reports, do you give enough notice so your sales team can do them outside of their prime selling hours.
The greatest gift you can give your sales team is time…selling time so they can be bringing in revenue. Actually, this is a gift that benefits everyone… the company, sales management and the sales people. As they say, revenue cures all!
